Conditions We Treat

The Right Treatment Starts With Understanding Your Concern

Every skin concern has a root cause, and the right treatment depends on understanding it. Browse the conditions below to see which options we recommend and why they work.

Acne

Why it works

Acne is driven by oil, clogged pores, bacteria, and inflammation. Chemical peels and DiamondGlow help clear buildup and improve turnover, which can reduce congestion and brighten the skin. Microneedling is usually not the first move for inflamed active acne, but it can help once breakouts are better controlled and texture becomes the main concern.

Acne Scarring

Why it works

Acne scars are a texture and collagen problem, not just a discoloration problem. Multifrax helps remodel the skin with non-ablative fractional resurfacing, while CO2 is a stronger resurfacing option for deeper scars and more advanced texture change. Microneedling is a good lower-downtime collagen-stimulating option for mild to moderate scarring or for patients easing into treatment.

Lines & Wrinkles

Why it works

Dynamic lines come from muscle movement, while etched lines and crepey texture come more from collagen loss and skin thinning. Botox softens movement-driven lines, fillers restore support, and Sculptra/Radiesse stimulate collagen over time. Multifrax, CO2, and microneedling improve skin quality and fine textural wrinkling by triggering new collagen remodeling.

Pigmentation / Hyperpigmentation

Why it works

Pigment issues happen when excess melanin collects unevenly in the skin. IPL is best for many superficial pigment and sun-related discoloration concerns in appropriate skin types, while Multifrax fractional resurfacing is strong for tone correction and superficial pigment cleanup. Peels and DiamondGlow help by increasing exfoliation and improving overall skin clarity.

Melasma

Recommended treatments

Long-term success depends heavily on skincare support and strict SPF.

Why it works

Melasma is not just "dark spots." It is a chronic, reactive pigment condition that can flare with heat, hormones, and inflammation. That means treatment has to be controlled and strategic, not overly aggressive. Peels and selective resurfacing can help lift pigment, but long-term success depends heavily on maintenance and sun protection.

Redness / Rosaccea / Vascular Concerns

Recommended treatments

Why it works

Redness and visible vessels are vascular concerns, so light-based treatment is usually a better fit than exfoliation alone. IPL targets hemoglobin in superficial vessels, which helps reduce diffuse redness and broken capillaries. It is one of the cleaner category matches for rosacea-type redness in appropriate skin types.

Enlarged Pores

Why it works

Enlarged pores are usually tied to oil production, congestion, and reduced collagen support around the pore opening. Peels and DiamondGlow help clean and refine the surface, while microneedling and fractional resurfacing improve the surrounding collagen framework. That combination makes pores look tighter and skin look smoother overall.

Uneven Tone & Texture

Why it works

Uneven tone and texture usually come from a mix of dead skin buildup, pigment irregularity, and collagen damage. Surface-focused treatments like DiamondGlow and peels brighten and smooth, while microneedling and laser resurfacing address deeper structural texture change. The best treatment depends on whether the complaint is mostly dullness, roughness, pigment, or acne scarring.

Sun Damage / Photodamage

Why it works

Sun damage shows up as brown spots, redness, rough texture, and collagen breakdown. IPL is useful when pigment and vascular change are the biggest complaints, while Multifrax and CO2 are better when texture, wrinkling, and resurfacing are needed. Peels are a good adjunct for brightening and improving overall tone.

Excessive Sweating / Hyperhidrosis

Recommended treatments

Why it works

Hyperhidrosis happens when nerves overstimulate the sweat glands. Botox works by temporarily blocking the signal between the nerve and the sweat gland, so the gland produces much less sweat in the treated area. It is a functional treatment more than a cosmetic one, even though patients also love the confidence benefit.

Hair Thinning / Hair Loss

Why it works

Both treatments aim to support weak or miniaturizing follicles and improve the scalp environment for healthier growth. PRP uses the patient's own platelet-derived growth factors, while exosome therapy uses cell-signaling messengers designed to support repair and follicle activity. PRP is the patient's own regenerative material, while exosomes are a more advanced regenerative signaling treatment.

Volume Loss / Hollowing / Deflation

Why it works

A lot of "I look tired" is really a volume-loss complaint. Fillers replace lost support more immediately, while Sculptra and Radiesse stimulate collagen more gradually for broader structural improvement. PRP can help tissue quality, but it is not a true substitute for filler when actual volume replacement is needed.

Unwanted Hair

Recommended treatments

Why it works

Laser hair removal targets pigment in the hair follicle and heats it enough to reduce future growth. It works best in a series because hair grows in cycles and not all follicles are active at the same time. It is also helpful for patients who deal with ingrowns and chronic shaving irritation.
